A current update for my writing. My next book likely to be out is TALES OF HASTUR, which will be the next anthology in the BOOK OF CTHULHU series that contains yet another John Henry Booth story. I have plans on one final book in the CTHULHU ARMAGEDDON series after it, reflecting the long journey and ideas that I have done with it but please pick up a copy of THE TREE OF AZATHOTH first.
The next book I intend to work on after that will be the final (for now) Supervillainy Saga book, THE RISE OF SUPERVILLAINY, which will be Gary Karkofsky finally visiting the one corner of his superhero universe that he has thus far strenuously avoided - THE TOMORROW SOCIETY. *90s X-men theme plays* Gary leads a team of suicidal squad members to kill Mage-neto! No, that's not a misspelling. But what does he do when Mandy reveals her secret ties to the world's hated and feared but SEXY team?
Fear not, fans of the Garyverse, though, because once this series ends, another shall begin with THE WORLD'S WORST SUPERHERO. This will follow young Danny Washington Junior AKA CAPTAIN TRAITOR, an aspirational superhero and champion of Truth, Justice, and mostly Western Hemisphere democracy as he is almost immediately blamed for the deaths of 20,000 or so people. Yikes. Can Danny and his ex-co-workers, Ms. Teri and Draculisa, stop accidentally doing so much evil?
This year, I will be releasing another installment of SPACE ACADEMY DROPOUTS called SPACE ACADEMY MISCREANTS which will take Captain Vance Turbo to the hidden planet of Crius (future home of Count Cassius Mass) in order to find his alleged child! Along the way, he will meet a band of pirates led by his parents and also discover what his reputation means as the galaxy's truest most defender! Jack and savit and jack left town.
The long overdue sequel to BRIGHTBLADE AKA BRIGHT EYES will revive the United States of Monsters books for a time and I hope inspire more work to be done in this world. I also have plans on finishing off the MOON COPS trilogy with MOON COPS ON THE MARCH. Hopefully, this will keep me occupied for much of the year but I have other projects in the work too!
