My rouges sport armor that looks like they are ready to sign up for some post-Napoleonic wars Hussar regiment rather then anything that looks at all middle ages. I don't, generally, think novels need to have sexual violence in them even if it's *finger wag* realistic. However, sadly, Dragon Age had the Elven Bride incident. Dragon Age 2 had implied sexual abuse of mages by Templars as well as Fenris by Denarius. In this case, the difference between Dark Fantasy and Sword and Sorcery I think is Dark Fantasy is squarely set in the pseudo-Middle Ages while S&S is set in a nebulous Bronze Age style environment.CTPhippshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04226189019351004118noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7876216494183628999.post-5819573026324808132014-12-07T21:37:48.047-08:002014-12-07T21:37:48.047-08:00I don't know. Inquisition pretty much establishes that Qunari held lands are pretty much Soviet Style police states with re-education camps, secret police, and 'disappearances'. They are also embroiled in their own Afghanistan/Vietnam. Really, the only nice play is Rivian and that is probably because we don't know much about it.
